1. Does the brand (company) clearly support global mandatory cuts of carbon emissions of at least 50% by 2050 or 30% by industrialized countries by 2020? Not found on Electrolux Group website. Reduction targets solely refer to Electrolux Group and do not endorse country targets. SOURCE

The 2009 Annual Report (see page 89) provides a table with all greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions involved in the production process in 2006 and 2009. The document states that environmental indicators account for the business area's entire operation (see page 87). SOURCE
3. Has the brand (company) set a target to reduce its ‘own operations’ carbon footprint by at least 20% by the year 2012? Electrolux Group provides a fragmented timetable that cumulates its reduction targets of roughly 30% as compared to 2005 levels. Electrolux Groups has formulated two targets: 1) a 15% reduction in 2009 based on 2005 levels; and a 15% reduction in 2012 based on 2008 levels. Electrolux Group has enlisted all chemical substances in a Restricted Materials List (RML). PVC is assessed as a 'Substance of Concern' (SoC; see page 1) and is not banned from production. Most flame retardants (BFRs) are either restricted in usage or a SoC (see page 2). There is no outspoken intention to ban the selected substances from future production. SOURCE
