Why?
As more and more people choose to buy high-scoring brands, companies are increasingly encouraged to become more responsible. The caption below illustrates how Rank a Brand seeks to empower you to create sustainable and global change:
How?
Our trained community of volunteers rank brands. On the basis of a questionnaire and a ranking-guideline, these ‘Rankers’ analyse the information brands publish on their websites. We focus here on three themes, namely carbon emissions, environment and labour conditions/human rights.
Who?
We are powered by Niels Oskam, Founder and Managing Director of Rank a Brand and Imke van Schaaijk (Research & PR Manager). Further fuel is added by our community of Rankers and other volunteers, as well as the Rank a Brand Board, consisting of Jane Aerts, Gerhard Schuil and co-founder Carlien Helmink.
